i feel like being a kid is an amazing time, specifically because before a certain age, you don't really have a concept of bad or good, you just do what feels right. as we grow we eventually learn to be bad, and we do. we then spend the rest of our lives hiding in shame from our mistakes, burying the very understanding of them so deep they can't surface.
they will, however, we just won't recognize them.
